What a good enquiry contains
A good enquiry answers the supplier's first five questions before they are asked. What category is needed, and for what job. Where it will be used, and under what conditions. How many are planned, and whether that quantity is firm or indicative. When the goods are needed, and whether the timing is flexible. And what documents, if any, must accompany the order.
Buyers who send those five points usually receive a reply that can be compared directly with other suppliers, because the reply can address the same five points. Buyers who send only a category name usually receive a request for the same five points, which costs a round of messages. The form above is laid out in that order for that reason.
- Category and intended job, in plain words.
- Setting and conditions that matter to the job.
- Planned quantity, firm or indicative.
- Timing, and whether it can move.
- Documents needed, named one by one.
What happens after you send it
After an enquiry is sent, the supplier confirms which category items fit the description, what can be supplied, and what quantity and timing apply to that enquiry. Documents requested in the enquiry are confirmed at the same stage, so a buyer is not left to discover a missing document after an order is placed.
If a detail in the enquiry is unclear, expect a clarifying question rather than a guessed answer. That is the correct response for category-level supply: a confirmed answer for your order is worth more than a fast answer that turns out to describe a different item.
Send a field-ready enquiry
Tell us, in one message: the category you need (Contact), how the cameras or collars will be used, the quantity you are planning, and the timing you are working to. Add any documents you need, such as certificates, so the reply can confirm what can be supplied rather than guess at it.
Start an enquiry → tell us your use, quantity and timing
Use the contact form. Please include your use case, quantity and timing — those three details make a useful first reply possible.
